Privacy Policy

ReviewGenesis (“we”, “us”) provides a software service that helps small businesses request customer reviews by text message. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and who we share it with.

• Account data: business name, email, and authentication metadata you provide at signup.
• Customer contact data: names, phone numbers, and email addresses imported from QuickBooks Online or entered manually by the account owner.
• Messaging metadata: send time, delivery status, replies, opt-out signals (STOP/HELP/START), and error codes from the SMS carrier.
• Review activity: ratings, platform clicked (Google / Facebook), and any private feedback a recipient submits through our landing page.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer and subscription IDs; we do not store card numbers.

Review-request text messages are only sent to phone numbers supplied by the account owner for the purpose of requesting a review after a completed transaction. Every message includes the sender's identity and opt-out instructions. Recipients may reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing.

• Deliver, route, and measure review-request messages.
• Provide dashboards and analytics to the account owner, including delivery rates and review ratings.
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and keep the service secure.
• Bill for the service and comply with tax requirements.

When you provide your mobile phone number to a contractor using ReviewGenesis, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to your service.

Message Frequency: You will receive one (1) text message after your service is completed and your invoice is marked paid.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan.

Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. You will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.

Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact support@reviewgenesis.io.

Mobile Number Privacy: Your mobile phone number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used solely to send you a review request after service completion.

Contractor Responsibility: Contractors using ReviewGenesis are responsible for obtaining your consent before adding your phone number to our system. If you did not consent to receive SMS messages, please contact the contractor directly or email support@reviewgenesis.io.

We use these sub-processors to run the service:

• Twilio — delivers SMS and handles carrier compliance.
• Supabase — stores application data.
• Stripe — processes payments and subscriptions.
• Intuit QuickBooks — imports customers and invoices when an account owner connects their QuickBooks.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

When a reviewer chooses to leave a public review, we redirect them to Google or Facebook; any review they submit there is governed by that platform's privacy policy.

We retain account and messaging records for as long as the account is active, plus a reasonable period to satisfy legal, audit, and dispute-resolution obligations. Opt-out records are retained indefinitely so we don't contact a number that has asked not to be contacted. Account owners may request deletion of their account data by emailing support@reviewgenesis.io.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information about yourself. Contact us at support@reviewgenesis.io to make a request. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
